On the 6th of March, the global comedy superstar will take the stage with his Act Your Age World Tour, which has played to sold-out audiences in the United States and Europe.

Russell Peters will perform live at Al Dana Amphitheatre on March 6Russell has been honing his craft since he was nineteen and became the first comedian to sell-out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre in 2007. The comedian was recently named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics of All Time. The comedian went on to set attendance records at venues such as Madison Square Garden and Sydney Opera House, as well as the O2 Arena in London, where he broke the attendance record for the highest number of tickets sold at an individual comedy show.

Shane Chalmers, Chief Executive Officer of Al Dana Amphitheatre, stated: “We’re thrilled to be able to fill Al Dana Amphitheatre with laughter for our first comedy event of the season. Rolled out in January 2022, the Act Your Age World Tour offers a hilarious take on cancelled culture, ageing and the current state of the world and has sold out in some of the world’s biggest venues. “I was supposed to start this tour in 2020, but then, I’m not sure if you guys heard, but something happened,” says Peters. The show is the latest addition to a jam-packed calendar of events that has brought smiles to the faces of more than 50,000 fans since it opened in November 2021.
